How can I view a complete listing of the course catalog?
A listing of every course is available through the "Course Catalog" link on the left navigation bar of www.financialcampus.com.
NOTE: Various designations have modified lists of which courses are approved for credits. Insurance CE credit approval and credit hours are organized on a state by state basis. If you do not follow the individual designation approved courses and requirements you may not receive credit for your course.
How do I order the right course?
Courses are ordered according to which license or designation you hold. Because each license or designation has a different set of available courses and different credit hours, you should search based upon your license or designation.
- State Insurance Continuing Education
-
State Insurance Continuing Education differs from state to state. Requirements, available courses and credit hours for someone in New York are not the same as someone in Florida.
You can view a list of your state's requirements, available courses and credit hours. This list is followed by the state's requirements, organized by how long one has been an agent and how often an agent needs to satisfy the requirements.

You can view a list of courses and requirements which can be used to obtain credits regardless of your state.
I have more than one license and/or designation. How can I maximize my credits with the courses I chose?
We have developed a credits database that organizes courses according to the license or designation requirements they fulfill. Simply select the license or designation for which you wish to fulfill requirements and/or select your state. The list of approved courses will be presented in alphabetical order, along with the number of credit hours for each course. By clicking on the course title, you will have the opportunity to view a description of the course and/or purchase it.
Am I a member? How do I become a member?
Any person who purchases a course is considered a member. Once you buy a course you can login to access your account. We also offer various Memberships & Courses; which you can maximize your continuing education credits with various designations.
How do I add additional courses?
When you buy any of the various memberships available, a "My Courses" link is added to your account. By clicking this link you can view courses and instead of buying the course, you are simply adding it to your account and it becomes immediately available for study.
How do I take my exam?
The best time to take your exam is immediately following your course study.
At the end of each course there is an exam notification screen. If the course offers more than one exam based upon the credits you wish to receive (Insurance, Securities, CFP, etc.) you will be asked to select the proper exam. The following information will help ensure all your credits are reported properly.
- Profile Information
-
You will have the opportunity to review and update your profile information. It is very important this information is correct, because it is the information we use when submitting your credits to your state.
- Licensing State and Designations
-
You will be asked to choose your licensing state, the default is your home state from your profile. This is the state that the credits will be reported to. You can also request that your credits be reported to several other designations by selecting the proper checkboxes.
- Approved for Credit
-
This page displays whether the course you wish to get credits for is available for credits in your state, or for any designation which you may have requested to be reported on. Most likely you have already browsed for the proper approved courses for state CE and the additional designation before ordering the course, so this process may not be applicable. However, if you seek to get credits beyond your original intentions this will determine if it is possible. If it is not possible you will not be permitted to proceed to the exam.
- Certificate Reporting Fee
-
For every designation (State CE, PACE, CFP, CPA, CPCU) you wish credits be reported on you must pay the certificate fee of $15.00. Once your exam has been passed we will be notified and your account will be reviewed. If you have not paid the proper fee, your credits may not be reported and you may be contacted.
Once you have confirmed all the necessary information, click confirm and proceed. If you have changed any of the information in the profile, your account profile will be updated (unless the Update Profile box is unchecked - not recommended) and the approval will be updated to confirm that all the information is in order. At this point you will move on to any specific state exam procedures and monitoring requirement information based upon your licensing state.
If your state allows online exams (either with a monitor or not) you will need to print the affidavit.
NOTE: Not all states require an affidavit.
Read the information page carefully to confirm your state's requirements. If your state has no requirements you will not see this page and you will be forwarded directly to your exam.
The proper exam will then appear and you may begin your examination.
NOTE: Various states require different levels of monitoring for your exam. Please follow the instructions for your state carefully. If requirements are not fulfilled your exam may be null and void.
What's the differences between the Securities Exams and the Insurance Exams?
We currently have 2 examination options. The FINRA Securities Training exam system and the Insurance or Professional CE exam system.
The FINRA Securities exam system is strictly for your broker dealer's FINRA Firm Element study program. It is a non-monitored 25 question exam. If you are taking courses for your broker dealer's firm element program, take this examination.
The Insurance Exams contains 25 to 100 questions, but each state has unique requirements for how these exams can and must be taken. Failure to follow these requirements may render your score null and void. The state requirements will be presented to you before you reach the exam.
If you take the securities exam for any other form of continuing education credit except firm element or professional development, you will not receive credit. The securities exam results may not be use to generated state specific certificates.
How are my credits reported to my state?
Before taking your exam you will be prompted to pay a certificate processing fee. This fee will be charged for every passed exam and every designation and/or additional state you request.
Once you have passed your exam, the results will be processed by FinancialCampus and you will be given a Certificate of Completion. This certificate is a receipt from FinancialCampus and is not the certificate that is sent to your state. It is only a receipt and it is not necessary to print it out.
FinancialCampus will send your certificate to your state along with any affidavits and monitor applications that your state may require. If required by the state, all affidavits and/or monitor's forms must be signed and mailed to FinancialCampus before credits are reported to the state.
How do I retrive my username and/or password?
Visit the Forgot Username/Password? page.
Why is my username and/or password not working?
There are a number of reasons for this:

- You may be putting the username in the password field and vice versa. Make sure you are entering the proper information in each box.
- If you changed your password, and then reordered, your password gets reset depending upon whether you identified yourself as an existing user. Refer to your most recent order receipt for your current username and password.
- Your account has expired. If it has been more than 12 months since you ordered your last course or setup your account, it may have expired.
